A chaotic production and funding issues haunt this series like a bad smell, but I overall enjoyed watching it. Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor is an absolute delight. Love him or hate him, the guy has more charisma, charm, and personality to match the other brilliant actors who have occupied the role, such as Tom Baker and David Tennant.
Despite the behind-the-scenes turbulence, the show still manages to deliver on heart, imagination, and bold storytelling. The writing may be uneven at times, but when it hits, it really hits—offering some genuinely moving moments and exciting twists. The visual effects have taken a noticeable step up, and the music continues to elevate the emotional beats.
Ultimately, it's a series that wears its ambition proudly. Flawed but full of life, this chapter of Doctor Who proves the show still has the power to surprise, entertain, and reinvent itself for a new generation.
