A gritty setup and Liam Neeson’s familiar tough-guy presence can’t save The Ice Road from feeling like a slow drive on a flat stretch of highway. The action lacks tension, the dialogue feels stiff, and the overall execution never quite delivers the suspense or emotional punch it aims for. Watchable in the background, but far from memorable.
