Sophia Howard rents a house in the countryside of Wales and hires the occultist Joseph Solomon to contact her son that was kidnapped and murdered by teenagers practicing black magic. Along the days, Sophia follows the guidance of Solomon in rituals to purify her soul. However Sophia has a hidden agenda that jeopardizes their lives.

Really good horror flick!
It's a more realistic take on incantations. The last few minutes bump it down from a four star rating for me, because I think they could have done sooo much more and better with the last couple of scenes but this is a movie that made even me, as a hardened horror fan slightly jump at one particular spot. That hasn't happend to me in well over a decade.
It's slow... You need to understand that going in. Don't expect a The Conjouring type movie that goes from one scare to the next but the atmosphere is outstanding.
