In Depression-era London, a now-grown Jane and Michael Banks, along with Michael's three children, are visited by the enigmatic Mary Poppins following a personal loss. Through her unique magical skills, and with the aid of her friend, Jack, she helps them rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives.

I was excited to the point that Mary Poppins makes her underwhelming entrance.
Everything is a bit off and/or just not good enough.
The story and characters are weak, the children are annoying and Mary Poppins, once practically perfect now comes across like some condescending Thatcher.
The set-pieces and accompanying songs are also poor.
Really disappointed.
Err on the side of avoidance.
