This movie is a 5/10, maybe a 5.5/10.
But it's still a fun watch.
Both things can be true.
The Ice Road is reminiscent of all the B-grade action thrillers that used to play on TNT, TBS, and USA back in the day.
Personally, I'd recommend watching on a lazy day when you're bored, sick, or hungover. Perfect if you want to have something on in the background, nod off, wake up and you still know exactly what's going on.. I watched the sequel (Ice Road: Vengeance) so you don't have to. It's bad, you can skip it.
