After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.
Felt more like a video game than a movie unfortunately. The main killer of this film was the writing. The dialogue was so filled with exposition it literally left you no room to think. On top of that, the film apparently went through two or three sets of reshoots and had five writers. That’s WAY too many. Frankly I think the story had a ton of potential and actually was setup in a way to be a cool crime/political/thriller, similar to Winter Solider. But as can happen, it got watered down and made into a subpar movie with so much potential. Also not to mention, the music and cinematography left way more to be desired. They went for such a more basic approach and less tailored creative risks that made it feel kinda bland. Lastly, the real heart of this film rested on the shoulders of Isaiah Bradley played by Carl Lumbly. He can ACT and gave such an amazing performance. 2.5/5.
