In 1993, the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence Project receives a transmission detailing an alien DNA structure, along with instructions on how to splice it with human DNA. The result is Sil, a sensual but deadly creature who can change from a beautiful woman to an armour-plated killing machine in the blink of an eye.

This is a mix of sci-fi, horror, and action that sounds cooler than it really is. The idea of a half-human, half-alien woman on the loose is interesting, but the movie leans too hard into B-movie territory.
The effects were probably impressive back in the day, but they haven’t aged well and look pretty dated now. Natasha Henstridge stands out in her debut, but the story is kind of silly and the dialogue is clunky.
It’s not awful, just kind of average. Fun in a cheesy 90s way, but don’t expect anything deep or scary.
