"La pasajera" is a distressing horror movie supported primarily onto its characters and which takes place in a suffocating atmosphere. It narrated the story of a van shared by multiple passengers that hits an excursionist who was walking at a secondary road at night. After getting her into the vehicle to take her to the closest hospital, the occupants soon realize that they just have to follow a very simple rule: don't sit next to her.

Caught this on the last day of SIFF 2022 and this was a pleasant surprise. An parasite/alien creature feature with some pretty gnarly effects and a fair amount of creep out moments and genuine scares. Ramiro Blas is terrific as Blasco, a former bull fighter turned ride-share driver that takes on an unwanted passenger of sorts in his Vanpool.
Worth checking out for the horror fans out there.
