After 6 badass seasons of Cobra Kai, they’re gonna give us this cookie cutter cringefest? One of the most lame cash grabs I’ve ever seen. Terrible story, villains, dialogue, characters, action. The fight scenes had awful editing, with shaky cams, too many cuts, even slowmo and freeze frames. Tournament was just fast forwarded. This movie had zero heart. Villains were comical. Jackie and Ralph barely did anything besides giving the most basic boring platitudes and the training montage was so bad. This so called reboot doesn’t even give good homage to the past movies and is just uninspired fodder. My half star only goes to the funny joke at the very end of the movie.
