Ironheart
After the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, technology is pitted against magic when Riri Williams, a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world, returns to her hometown of Chicago. Watched it. Regretted it.
This one shouldn’t have been made.
Riri Williams is supposed to be the tech genius successor to Iron Man, but the show spends more time forcing quips and awkward team-ups than showing actual brilliance.
Her suit looks like a cosplay prototype and the plot flips between magic and tech like it forgot which genre it’s in.
The cast tries, but the writing doesn’t help.
Parker Robbins (The Hood) is a villain with zero menace and the supporting crew feels like a checklist of “diverse but underwritten.” Even the AI sidekick Natalie floats around like a ghost with no logic.
It’s loud, messy and full of moments that feel like they were written by committee.
The finale teases Mephisto, because why not throw in a literal demon when the story’s already off the rails?
