Before Guardians of the Galaxy and the Suicide Squad reboot, James Gunn penned this cinematic masterpiece. This movie also deserves credit for giving Matthew Lilliard job security for the rest of his life as he has been the voice of Shaggy ever since. The CG is bad, the jokes are bad, the acting is bad, but I can't help but think that this is about as close to capturing the campy spirit of the Scooby Doo franchise as was possible at the time. Bonus half a star for all the shameless weed jokes.
