Ava
Ava ist jung, attraktiv – und professionelle Auftragskillerin. Ihre Opfer: Zumeist hochkarätige Zielpersonen aus höheren Kreisen, an die es auch wirklich nur ein Rankommen gibt, wenn man zu den Besten gehört. Doch das Blatt wendet sich für die Berufsmörderin, als einer ihrer Jobs schief läuft. Um Gras über die Sache wachsen zu lassen, schickt ihr Boss Simon seine Top-Killerin in Zwangsurlaub – das glaubt zumindest Ava. Was die rothaarige Femme fatale allerdings nicht weiß: Simon hat ihr eine Reihe ihrer Kollegen auf den Hals gehetzt, um sie ein für alle mal auszuschalten. Und plötzlich ist sie die Gejagte, die nun Hilfe bei ihrem Ex-Verlobten Michael und ihrem Mentor Duke sucht …

My quick rating - 5.5/10. A capable yet entirely too familiar story of an assassin trying to do right by her family and ends up having to fight for her own survival. The acting is pretty good for this sort, and it does a nice job of mixing the action with the personal life interactions with her estranged sister and mother (Geena Davis). Really the cast top to bottom screams out success, but the story is just plain and exactly what you are expecting. Too bad since I am a huge fan of this cast, especially Malkovich.

Really the cast top to bottom screams out success, but the story is just plain and exactly what you are expecting. Too bad since I am a huge fan of this cast, especially Malkovich.
