Loved every ounce of this. Immediately endeared me with it’s overhead Shining Shot opening as part of a Long Cold Open that is chilling and tense. I won’t reveal any specific story details, but it’s similar to the High Beams / Killer in the Backseat urban legend. This is a really chilling Irish Supernatural horror that is nearly perfectly executed. It has several setups and payoffs that are really satisfying. The jumpscares are bone-chilling and it has some really funny moments all the way up until the final shot. My only very minor gripe is that although there is some blood and gore, we only ever see the aftermath of the kills. So the off-screen kills were a minor bummer, but it really didn’t detract to much from how much I loved this. Highly recommend. It’s an upcoming Shudder release but if you could catch it at a festival if it has any kind of theatrical release, I would highly recommend it. 🤩🤩
