This one takes a different turn from the earlier Frankenstein films, feeling more like a classic monster movie than a dark, serious drama. Peter Cushing is great as always, and the sets and atmosphere are fun and spooky.
The story is a bit all over the place, especially with the random hypnotist character, and the monster makeup isn’t very convincing. Still, it’s entertaining if you’re in the mood for some old-school horror with a gothic vibe. Not the best in the series, but worth a watch.
