Washed-up, coked-out Vegas magician is snitching on the mob, holed up in a penthouse while every psycho in the western hemisphere (and a Swede) shows up to collect the bounty on his head. It kept me guessing all the way to the end--and it wasn't until after the prestige that the trick was revealed. And to add a flourish, an early-career Chris Pine as a deranged hillbilly assassin is way more fun than it has any right to be. It's a bloody mess, and worth it.
