A ~delusional dream~ of a meta play makes a fun dark comedy.
An original story of sexual discovery / confusion / repression / acceptance and self-reflection (and lack thereof)
Feels like something you would watch on HBO at 9 PM in 2001. Especially with that final dinner scene lol
Hilarious. Mike is so goofy and adorable I really miss his acting. You can clearly see the early genius of his writing here tho so I’m glad he’s still doing that at least!
Very sad and very uncomfortable and unfortunately relatable lmao but still hopeful!
The music is incredible. Might be the same melody as “Ask” by The Smiths, but wonderful still.
Amateur-ish, yet capable direction. Tho maybe I’m misattributing the VERY lo-fi/indie feel for amateur; unsure.
