“Blink Twice” is one of those movies that grabs you from the first minute and doesn't let go. The plot revolves around a mystery that seems simple at first, but takes increasingly intense twists, leaving you glued to the screen. It all starts with what seems to be an everyday situation, but as the minutes progress, you realize that nothing is what it seems.
The director manages to create an atmosphere charged with tension and moments where you literally have to remind yourself to breathe. Added to this is a very solid cast, with performances that feel real and emotionally charged. The film plays with your expectations, and just when you think you know what's going to happen, it gives you a reality check you didn't see coming.
It's a film that invites you to pay attention to every detail, as if you're piecing together a puzzle. And while it is loaded with intriguing moments, it also has room for those calmer moments that make you reflect on why the characters' decisions. It's one of those films that when it's over, leaves you thinking about what you've just seen for quite a while.
