Finding Dory

Finding Dory
Dory is a wide-eyed, blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so. The one thing she can remember is that she somehow became separated from her parents as a child. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic adventure to find them. Her journey brings her to the Marine Life Institute, a conservatory that houses diverse ocean species.

Pixar has been a little hit or miss these past couple of films, so I was a little weary of Finding Dory. It could of ended up being like Cars 2 or Toy Story 2. I'm glad that it's the latter.
Finding Dory is an excellent trip down memory lane and a blast to hang back out with these hilarious characters whether new or old. Ellen DeGenerous is fantastic once again as Dory and really works as the lead in this film. The addition of Hank the octopus is by far the best part. Every time he's on screen I found myself laughing historically.
When I wasn't laughing at the film, it was managing to pull at my heart strings with a surprisingly emotional tale of Dory trying to rediscover her parents and where she came from.
The animation is gorgeous and really draws you into their world. I saw this screening in 3D and think it's safe to say it's unnecessary to see it in that format. I'm going to keep this review short so that you can go into this film fresh and just be ready for another fantastic Pixar film.
Make sure you stay for after the credits for a hilarious scene you won't want to miss!
