Some might say it's slow. But they forget, it's a continuation of the Chris Reeves Superman series. In that context it's quite impossibly enjoyable. The music hits well and the script comes off well. My only critique is the very strange combination of having this film take place as a sequel to Superman 2, but cellphones are also a thing? The world Superman Returns takes does not make it easy to follow the idea that this is infact a sequel.
