Jack Nicholson plays Senior Officer Colonel Nathan Jessup rumored by the President for appointment to National Security Counsel head. Kevin Bacon plays prosecutor Judge Advicate General. Navy LtCdr Demi Moore is head of Internal Affairs to supervise LtJg Tom Cruise defending 2 Marines accused of murder. This is both a courtroom drama AND on location visit to GITMO US Territory on the coast of Cuba. I am a Navy Vet serving 30 years before this film. A 1963 Chevy 4 Dr hard top was mine then and for Cruise 2000. Cross examination of Jessup leads to the famous line : YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH. This movie is NOT for popcorn but is for whiskey and cigars.
