My first Fulci western which actually predates his legacy into horror. Off the bat when the town is invaded by bandits blood explodes from chests.
Four of the Apocalypse is a violent western and incredibly depressing. Our lead four gang of misfit criminals face bleakness on the trail. Rape, cannibalism, infection, all follow- even a birth which is an intensely emotional scene.
Italians just nail both westerns and the horror genres.
