Blending gritty realism, complex characters, and stunning action sequences into one of the best comic book adaptations to date, Daredevil is still the best Marvel show ever. The series reintroduces Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer by day and a masked vigilante by night, as he fights crime and corruption in Hell’s Kitchen.
From the very first episode, Daredevil sets itself apart from traditional superhero fare with its grounded approach. The fight choreography is visceral and intense, with each punch and struggle feeling authentic—best exemplified by the now-iconic one-shot hallway fight in episode 2.
Beyond the action, Daredevil thrives in its moral complexity. The season explores themes of justice, faith, and the cost of heroism, often forcing Matt to confront the fine line between righteousness and revenge.
