Writing from scratch, The New One-Armed Swordsman is a retelling of the titular character. I found it to be somewhere in the middle fo the previous two- there's more story and character buildup like the first and has some over the top wuxia battles like Return had. While it wasn't as blood-tastic Return was there were some epic duels of sword. That finale is quite something.
