“The Last Dragonslayer” is a fantasy film that blends British wit with magic, corporate satire, and a coming-of-age tale. Adapted from a novel, it plays like a brisk walk through a story that wanted to be a journey. The special effects are serviceable, though the dragon falls a bit short. It definitely has a made-for-TV feel, and if you approach it with that in mind, it’s a watchable, if modest, adventure.
