Who doesn’t love big a$$ robots fighting big a$$ monsters with the fate of mankind in the balance? Just enough story and development of characters to make them likable and tug ever so slightly at your emotions when they die in a blaze of destruction and mayhem. I enjoy this film for the entertainment value—you don’t have to overthink it. I wish they’d make a few more (at the same quality).
