Looks fantastic with the great colors and snappy editing. It’s a shame it’s not the epic I expected. The comedy falls flat and the story doesn’t exactly draw you in. On paper an epic about a Texas Ranger going to Canada to get his man as a revolution brews sounds like a cool Gary Cooper movie. Somehow they screwed this up. I would like to see digital filmmakers try to recreate the beautiful look of films like this.
