Raiders of the Lost Ark is THE quintessential adventure movie. It is quite literally perfection.
I must have seen Raiders at least a dozen times by now, the VHS never had dust on it when I was younger. I don't give out 5 stars easily, but there is no other score I could give this.
There isn't *that* much to say about the story really, other than that is plenty deep enough to keep all the characters on the right path. On that note, the pacing and characters are top-tier. You can't help but love Indiana Jones and you won't be able to take your eyes off him.
The 4K bluray is honestly a bit underwhelming. For such an Iconic movie, I was expecting some beautifully crisp visuals but unfortunately that isn't quite what you get. The visuals are good, but didnt quite have the WOW factor that I had hoped for.
