Respect for the effort at world building...
Nothing but disappointment at the storytelling...
I saw Sadie's music videos from this flick on YouTube which led me here. I am a diehard Stranger Things fan, and Max has been my favorite since her first appearance. Chalk that at least partially up to the Michael Myers mask. So clearly I like Sink...and she's too good for this. Her voice & her performance are really the only reason to sit through this...unless you want to hear an atrocious autotuned disaster of a song from the also too-talented-for-this Murray Bartlett. The penultimate song is also really fucking good.
The only significant issue I'll address is this. The world this occupies is cool, not exactly a unicorn within the genre, but it's different enough to be interesting. Everything else, though, is painfully derivative of infinitely better stories. That breeds an inevitable comparison, and Odessa can't compete.
