My quick rating - 6.1/10. This was a pretty damn funny grifting flick. The whole setup is part of the fun and wouldn't do it justice without throwing spoilers in. So I'll dummy it down to Pixie (Olivia Cooke) masterminds a heist all to avenge the death of her mother. I enjoy it when a script is carefully crafted in such a way that everything that happens affects the story further. Again, I am saying shit without telling you a damn thing on purpose. Suffice it to say, the whole grift is concocted quite well to a satisfying end. The cast itself does a good job portraying some shady and amusing characters. It has a nice Tarantino-lite feel to it on a far lesser budget. And I can't say enough about how great Olivia Cooke plays her part. Definitely an unknown gem to come out of last year. If you are interested in gangster flicks that throw a double cross, and then a few more, this one is right up your alley.
