The direction and editing in this is so chaotic. Lulls a bit at points and some of the side stories werenât great but decent revenge plot. Enjoyed a lot of the stylistic choices and the action sequences didnât take me out of the film which was nice.
Such an incredible soundtrack. The NIN cover of Joy Divisionâs âDead Soulsâ fucking rocked and I love how good theyâve been for soundtracks/scores for three decades.
Idk why I waited so long to give this a watch. Solid horror flick! Good cast! Very reflective of the time period it was released in lol
Obviously the story of Brandon Lee is tragic. Dude had a ton of charisma for sure. Idk if itâs just bc of the fatal circumstances, but his acting here reminds me of Heath Ledgerâs Joker but also maybe thatâs just the make-up đ€Ą Leeâs acting is very raw and unrefined however reminding me of Nic Cage lmao so draw a line. All that saidâŠ..not a great performance from the nepo-prodigy imo đ Iâm sorry just a weird role to be canonized for ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
Love random David Patrick Kelly roles! His consistently eccentric roles are always a delight. Honestly think it helps bolster the film imo. Jon Polito is phenomenal in this as well!
