Probably one of most interesting takes of a post-apocalyptic story that quickly turns into a thrilling Country Western Rock Opera.
Really enjoyed the visual aesthetics here. Very reminiscent of an 80's laser tag arena. While the story is thin and starts to lose steam towards the second half, it never really finds the tone it wants to stick with.
Sadie Sink is awesome and she definitely carries the story with her performance as a rebel country punk trying to save the world, but the message doesn't quiet hit the mark at the end.
Can definitely see this becoming a cult-classic down the line and it warrants a watch if you're looking for something fresh and a new take on the classic dystopian story.
