By far one of the darkest most tragic movies I have ever seen. A great companion piece to Twin Peaks. The way Sheryl conveys emotion on screen is unmatched. It is so raw and so potent that you can't help but feel for Laura. Seeing Laura come to the realization that it was her Dad who had been abusing her all this time is just so heartbreaking. That and with the knowledge that Leland was doing this against his own free will makes it all the more tragic.
