Okay so this was kinda disturbing. The sheer spectacle of this kept my interest, if only to see what more horribleness could befall people. But I wouldn't call this necessarily a good show by any means. The "protagonist" is a psychopath and what he does seems like a huge overreaction to me. His "sidekick" is underreacting instead, causing a weird surreality to their "adventure". It's kind of like they took a few anime tropes and just cranked them to about 50. It's weird, and as such this shows story never really makes any sense. And yet, I couldn't look away either. And I admit that when the show ended, I for some reason wanted more of it. I'm slightly concerned about what that says about me 🙃 Sadly, this anime is currently unfinished. I hope it gets a second season some day.
