This one starts off with a very bold and shocking scene that sets the tone and really fuels the hatred toward the goblins. After that, the series becomes less brutal but keeps a dark and heavy atmosphere. The animation is solid, though the pacing can feel a bit slow at times, and the characters could use more depth. Still, if you enjoy dark fantasy with a relentless and overpowered main character, Goblin Slayer is worth checking out.
