I saw this as someone who did not grow up with the original and has no nostalgia for it, I just remember seeing it a while ago and barely remember it. But holy smokes this remake was done so well. I can’t praise the cinematography, score, acting, and even the general story enough. I know it’s a shot for shot of the OG, but this is the kind of film that translates perfectly into live action, unlike some of the ones Disney has tried.
