Ari Aster has to be one of my favourite modern directors. I consider him to be a modern day Kubrick.
Stunning visual storytelling with setups and payoffs that really require a re-viewing to appreciate.
The acting is fantastic, particularly Toni Colette’s performance.
Ari uses horror to deal with the struggles of a dysfunctional family dynamic which is something I think we all can relate to.
