This is a brilliant addition to the Star Trek universe, that gives you a new look at life on a Starfleet vessel. Told from the point of view of the "lower rank" personnel, it gives the series and universe a more relatable and Average Joe feel. The antics are often funny and definitely not as serious as the other installments in the universe of Star Trek.
