This film was disappointing. The character motivations were shallow, the conflict of an American Civil War was merely a backdrop, and the film doesn't have any depth to it.
All that said, it was entertaining. I kept wanting to see what happened next. The effects were well done, the set pieces were great, and I really enjoyed the movie from start to finish from a surface level. It's once you think deeper about it a little is where it falls off for me.
