I know people says this a lot, but this time it’s true. The Talented Mr. Keoghan really put his whole Keoghussy into this role. It’s one of the most fearless performances of recent memory. He puts his mouth and his c🤩k in all kinds of unexpected places in service of his infatuation with Jacob Elordi. It is incredibly dark and seductive, bitingly funny. As incredible as Keoghan and Elordi are, Rosamund Pike and Richard E. Grant honestly stole the show for me. Their characters are just hilariously out of touch and every line of dialogue speaks into that. Also, was very impressed (again) with Archie Madekwe, in a character who’s almost diametrically opposed to his role in Gran Turismo from earlier this year—and he kills it. This is a slow burn and may test some folks patience in getting where it’s going, but I promise…you will be rewarded for sticking it out to the end.
