A celebration of the universe, displaying the whole of time, from its start to its final collapse. This film examines all that occurred to prepare the world that stands before us now: science and spirit, birth and death, the grand cosmos and the minute life systems of our planet. (Limited release IMAX version with narration by Brad Pitt.)

Boring and pretentious. Brad Pitt's bedtime lullaby narration is baffling, nonsensical, and annoying.
"What is nature?" Durrr...like, stfu, go try and be profund somewhere else.
I dunno why this rubbed me so wrong but it did. Probably that it's half (sometimes terrible) CG, and the other half is ugly fish. Imagine if Planet Earth sucked and you're on the right track.
No science, no explanation to what's on screen, just (some, admittedly decent) visuals with Tyler Durden whispering sweet nothings in your ear.
