Based on the 60's-era cartoon of the same name. Royal Canadian Mountie Dudley Do-right is busy keeping the peace in his small mountain town when his old rival, Snidely Whiplash, comes up with a plot to buy all the property in town, then start a phony gold rush by seeding the river with nuggets. Can this well-meaning (though completely incompetent) Mountie stop Whiplash's evil plan?

I'm a huge fan of Dudley Do-Right, and let me just say the people who made this movie did not get it at all. Snidely is the closest one to the source material, so he's the best part, but he's not nearly good enough to save the movie. The humor in this movie is inconsistent and juvenile, dragging on and on jokes that weren't funny in the first place. The original cartoon was actually clever with its humor. It Deserves so so much better than this. The only good thing I can say about this movie is that it makes me appreciate the original more.
