After.Life has an intriguing premise and a moody, atmospheric tone that initially draws you in. However, the film quickly loses its grip due to underwhelming performances, particularly from Christina Ricci and Liam Neeson, whose delivery often feels flat or unconvincing. The inclusion of nudity felt unnecessary and added little to the narrative. Most notably, the story itself stretches plausibility, leaving the viewer more puzzled than intrigued. While it has some visual flair and thematic ambition, it ultimately falls short of being memorable or emotionally engaging.
