“The Shamrock Spitfire” is a low-budget World War II film that recounts the true story of Irish fighter pilot Brendan “Paddy” Finucane. While the heavy use of CGI in the aerial battles can be hit or miss, the film remains watchable and sincere. It's a story worth telling, and the filmmakers deserve credit for their admirable effort in bringing this overlooked hero’s legacy to the screen.
