A truly epic feat in storytelling. Mel delivers an intense performance that is nicely balanced with his humorous side, and Heath is as lovable as ever. Wilkinson and Isaacs are perfect in their roles as the two very contrasting antagonists, particularly Isaacs who excels in a love-to-hate-them role. Yes, liberties are taken with historical facts, but I can't bring myself to give a damn.
