First scene it tells you what its about and who has the power. Such a uniquely fun horror idea that resonates for a generation of kids that grew up watching the Mr.Rogers type content. It just couldn't hold the hype I had for it going in.
I think it deserves a higher rating overall. It's mostly practical effect dominated and they look between decent and high budget. When it leans into the CGI like the bubbles it's just really ugly and takes me out of the movie for a moment.
