The Christmas Kid (1967) is a low-budget Western about a boy born on Christmas under tragic circumstances, raised by the town, and resented by his father. The film flirts with redemption and moral reckoning themes, but stiff dialogue and awkward pacing drag it down. Though it hints at depth, the uneven execution keeps it from being delivered.
