V/H/S/Halloween

A collection of Halloween-themed videotapes unleashes a series of twisted, blood-soaked tales, turning trick-or-treat into a struggle for survival.
“You are going to get another fungal infection!”
You’re never gonna believe me but this horror anthology film is kind of a mixed bag
That said, I’ll always be here for these. Disappointed in Casper Kelly’s segment tho ngl
Main Story - Better than almost all of the other “main” stories in the series lol but that’s not saying much at all
Part 1 - Equally scary and silly as shit
Part 2 - Spooky but too unoriginal (edit: apt for this director)
Part 3 - Wildly cheesy dialogue and disgusting practical effects! Beyond camp to where it becomes annoying and runs too long. Anddd I just deduced which one was directed by Casper Kelly.
Part 4 - Ayeee Miles from Funny Pages! (And directed by Alex Ross Perry!!) Uniquely disturbing and enjoyed the rare V/H/S “realism”
Part 5 - A campy fun one with cool effects to end it! A visual haunted house. Simple but solid
