This was fantastic. I would suggest people watch this if people know Malcolm X’s story or not. I knew of him but did not know the whole tale.
It was captivating, I didn’t even mind the length (over 3 hours), because every point in his life was so important to tell. Even important to show that he visited the pyramids on his trip to Mecca—we see that he was followed by those two white men he mentions in his letters to his wife.
I purposefully didn’t look up the details of his assassination and wanted to watch it unfold. BAH. Such a great movie about an important figure.
