This clarified a lot and I really liked it. I haven’t watch a lot of older black and white movies, so this was a good introduction.
I remember reading this book in high school and being very confused, and about a year ago I bought the audiobook and followed along with a family tree. I knew I liked the idea of a haunting romance, but the movie helped me piece it together without the personal connection of the storyteller mussing it up.
Having faces to names solidified times and places. Makes me want to read it one more time!
