Eh, in it's entirety it wasn't a terrible series. Personally, my opinion, it wasn't near as great as Deadwood. But wasn't as horrible as most Western set shows. If you can't find anything to settle on to watch and like Western style shows with a dash of non-fiction history then give this one a chance.
